- Where can I find the district calendar?
- The district calendar can be found in the district office. It can also be found by clicking on Days in Service under the District Information tab.
- What should I do if my child will be absent?
- When your child is absent, please call the school at 279-2156 and let the secretary know that your child will be absent and when you anticipate he/she will return.
- How am I notified of school closings?
- In cases of inclement weather, the school will notify the following television and radio stations: KIMM, KFXS, KOUT, KBHB, KOTA, KEVN/FOX, KKMK, KKLS, KRCS, KICK, KELO, KDDX, KNBN. We encourage you to tune in to one of these stations so that you will know the status of our school day. The school will also notify you via the telephone through School Messenger.
- Where can I find the daily schedule?
- The district allows students in grades K-8 to attend church release classes on Wednesdays at 2:50PM. Students who do not attend church release classes receive small group reinforcement or participate in enrichment activities at school until the regular dismissal time.
The Elementary recess times vary from one teacher to the next. If you need to know those times, contact your child's teacher.
The High School schedule is broken into seven period days. The day begins at 7:50AM. Each period is 60 minutes in length with 4 minutes between periods in the morning and 3 minutes between periods in the afternoon. You can also access your child's schedule by logging on to Campus Portal.

- How do I enroll my child in school? (K immunization)
- To enroll your child in school, enrollment packets can be picked up at the district's main office. Each spring the Wall School District holds Kindergarten Screening. If you have a child who will be five years of age prior to September 1 of the upcoming year, please contact the school so we can send you information about screening.

- How do I check my child's grades?
- Your child's grades can be obtained by contacting his/her teacher(s) or by logging onto the parent portal, Campus Portal. Notify the district office if you need a username and password for the parent portal.

- What are the prices for meals?
- School meal costs are as follows:
- Breakfast
- Single student breakfast, all grades: $2.10.
- Reduced Breakfast: $0.30
- Adult and non-student breakfast: $2.60

- Single student lunch grades K-5: $3.10
- Single student lunch grades 6-12: $3.35
- Milk (or extra milk); $0.75

- How do I apply for free and reduced lunches?
- Free and Reduced lunch tickets are available through the school. Forms for the free and reduced lunch program can be obtained by calling (279-2156), stopping in the district office, or logging onto Food Service
- What if my child is on prescription medication?
- The office will handle any medication that needs to be administered. Prescription medications that are to be administered must be brought to the office in the original container, and must be accompanied by a note. If a note does not come to school with your child, we will not administer the medication. We will make every attempt to contact a parent/guardian if your child does not bring a note.
- How do I enroll my child in the Wall After-School Program (WASP)?
- The Wall After-School Program (WASP) is an enrichment and academic support program that provides a wide variety of age appropriate activities intended to meet the many needs of the children enrolled in the program. This program is designed for children between the ages of 5 and 5th grade (current year) who will benefit from enrichment activities in groups with a 15-to-1 ratio. WASP is located in the Wall School, room 110. The program follows the Wall School District calendar with the beginning and ending days as well as weather and holiday closings. Children will be enrolled by properly completing the registration form (located in room 110) and submitting appropriate payment with that month's calendar. The program has a limited number of spaces available that fill on a first come first serve basis. Questions about WASP can be submitted to the office or by calling 279-2156.

- What time can I drop my child off at school?
- Unless a child needs assistance in a classroom, has a special activity, or wants breakfast he/she should not arrive at school before 7:45 AM. Breakfast is served between 7:30 AM and 7:50. Children may be dropped off shortly before 7:30 AM so he/she may have enough time to eat before the start of the school day.
